Work and Happiness: "We must cultivate our gardens."-Voltaire by Michael Eza
I have used this keyboard to type thousands of pages. Essays, poetry, the start of a novel, reports, emails, letters, web searches and many other uses have been made of this keyboard, but now I am going to put it to one of the most important uses I ever have. I am about to write about work. Maslov explains that as humans we need to fulfill... (posted by Michael 63 days 1 hour ago.)
Granite Dells, Prescott Arizona by Dianne Lehmann
I love rocks … just about any kind of rocks. And the bigger the better. When we first moved to the Tri-City area (now the Quad-City area of Prescott, Chino Valley, Prescott Valley and Dewey-Humboldt), people would tell me about the Granite Dells and Watson Lake. So that was one of our first forays. It's easy to get to but not well marked. And truthfully, you'll see... (posted by Dianne 95 days 7 hours ago.)
Tropical Delusions by Lama Mama
I hate the word "can't" and, in general, think it's used excessively as a substitute for "don't want to bother". Here's a good example. In my living room right now are four plants: a spider plant that still manages to stay alive in spite of my cats' attempts to mulch it, a "snake plant" I inherited from my parents, an Arbequina olive tree and a banana tree. You can stop blinking... (posted by Lama Mama 105 days 23 hours ago.)
Seasickness - Jacht! Causes, Symptoms, Triggers and Prevention by William Gills
My first brush with seasickness was on the charter boat Mijoy out on Long Island Sound fishing with twenty or so other offshore anglers. The seas were steep, rolling fifteen footers, most everyone getting sick but me and a handful of others. I've never been very good at enduring the smell of someone else's spilled cookies and my gagging from... (posted by William 179 days 4 hours ago.)
Love of Gardens and Gardening
by Montyr
Next to Love, gardens must the most commonly sung about activity we express in life. There is just something about gardens that makes the heart want to sing! The nice thing about gardens is that they are forever loving. No matter how much time and effort you put into your garden, it will always be there for you. Similar to love though, a garden will only give back what you put into it. The fortunate part is... (posted by Montyr 216 days ago.)

Love is Divine
by Aakash Kokz
What is Love? Love is emotions, trust, care and sacrifice. If any of these are missing, a relationship will shatter down to pieces within a fraction of a second. Love is when you come across someone who finds the missing part of your soul, who makes you realize that you're the most beautiful and amazing person on this globe. A quote from Bible says, "God is Love and he that dwelleth in Love, dwelleth in God an (posted by Aakash 217 days 11 hours ago.)

Hormones in Children's School Milk!
by Daughter Nature
My daughter is now 3 years old and I have been blessed to find a preschool where I am allowed to make meal substitutions. She still does not eat animal products and rarely eats sugar and that alone makes it impossible for her to just eat school provided meals... a sad reality for our children! More and more our food is being tampered with and the milk given in schools, most likely contain genetically... (posted by Daughter Nature 3 years 14 days ago.)
