I remember the theme song, and the show. Back in the days when the Highway Patrol had the "bubble gum machine" lights on top of their black & whites.

A sitcom in 1961, 62 and 63. Two goofy cops, Joe Ross and Fred Gwynne. Back when my wife and I were in our child bearing age.

It was a "cops and robbers show" and a very goofy one at that, during the time of Leave it to Beaver. I think it was pretty popular, though.
