Maam! I am happy to welcome you to Searchwarp Community. And I am happy to respond first to your beautiful life story. Give our love to Xiaoxiao. Its difficult to pronounce Chinese names, but they are very sweet looking people. Especially the mongoloid children.I think we should experience all the aspects of our life before we die.On the funnier side, you're not only helped your family by making it complete with a child but also you helped Chinese govt. in their population reduction. Just kidding, don't mind please.Welcome again to SW.
Wow Debi -- great story and a well-written article. This is so beautiful. I frequently travel to Asia and most of the time at the airport while waiting for my connection, I see doting parents holding their newly adopted Asian babies. Joy exudes! To you and your husband --- Congratulations!~Nenita~Thanks, Nenita. You are lucky that you get to travel to Asia frequently. I am hoping to get Xiaoxiao back to see her origins and tour her birth country sometime, but it's sooooo expensive and to really see China takes a long time. So, we will see what the future holds, I guess. Thanks again for your comment,Debi
Thank you so very much for sharing your heart in this piece. We almost adopted about 6 years ago but didn't (I had some health issues at the time) and I will always wonder.... Marijo (Marijo pronounced Mary Jo) Welcome to SearchWarp
Great article Debi and don't forget the fact that you took this girl as your own, may have kept her from an undesirable life, maybe even a disastrousone. You are both fortunate to have each other.
I am almost sure that you were asian in your last lifetimeMost probably so, Paul.
