A Letter Of Love For My Mother
By Michelle Mackin
Hi Michelle,A letter that touches the heart as one comes to realize that mothers are God's gift to children. I love mom very much and I believe it's time I tell my mom how much I love her. I never got the chance to tell my Dad, I surely don't want to miss that chance with my mom. Thank your for reminding us how dear they really are to us.Keep them coming.Love youThank you Angie! Yes, our mother's are a gift. I am glad that this inspired you to tell your mom how special she is. I too never told my dad as I never met him.Hugs and love,
Dear Michelle,
I read you’re “A letter Of Love For My Mother”
How blessed and fortunate you are to have been allowed to love, and to be loved by your mother.
My mother abandoned me and my little brother Erik 1944 during WWII, and left me with my alcoholic father, and May 1945, WWII done with, his drunken behavior became so bad that my brother and I was taken away from him by force and placed in a boys home.i
I was never allowed to love, or be loved by my mother, and few to none can, or will ever be able to understand and comprehend that missed part of my life.
In my book, Memoirs of an Immigrant, I wrote my last chapter about me and my mother, simply calling it “AFTERWORD”
I now believe I should have named it: A Mothers Love, Missed Forever.
And so I have submitted this admittingly sad part of my life to SearchWarp for all to read, and is intended as a continuation of my response to your letter.
I cried as I read your letter, and I thank you for sharing it with me.
Very Sincerely,
Olof
Dear Olof,God bless you. I am glad that you read my letter to my mom. I too cried when I wrote it. Things weren't always easy. My mom was alcoholic and I spent a lot of time in foster homes and at my grandmothers. When she got sober, Praise the Lord, we had to learn how to live different and that difference is a 360 turn around. I never knew my dad as he was an abusive alcoholic and my mom left him after I was born from the hospital. I one day may write a book of my story also. I look forward to reading your response letter. I will do so after work today. I have also joined your fan club. Keep up the passionate writing and thank you.
Thank you for my initial response to your letter, and for joining my fan club. And if you do not mind, I am going to do the same thing; Join your fan club. And before I go, You MOST read my book. You most, and you will cry, but I promise you it will be one of the best Memoirs you will ever read. But, do not believe what I say. Ask Sandra Graham and in a week or two ask Susan Thom.Be well,Mr. EDear Olof,Where do I get a copy of 'Memoirs of An Immigrant?' I would love to read it. I am almost sure that I will cry and possibly relate to parts. I also know that if Sandra and Sue enjoyed it, it must be really good.Hugs and blessings,
Go to Barnes and Noble or Amazon.Give them the Title of the book and my name, Olof A. EriksenAnd ditto, ditto, = the same to you = hugs and blessingsMr. E
I will pray for your mom. Keep your faith!Thank you and God bless.
Now I am crying and am going to call or write my mom.

Dear Michelle, I just saw this, and love it. I just finished a poem to my oldest daughter and completely understand what grabs you to want to write such a letter of love. We do understand our mothers, as daughters, as we grow up and go through some experiences similar to theirs. I still marvel at how my mom did all she did, and you likely have the same emotion, from what your letter says. Blessings, JeanHi Jean,You are absolutely right. I still marvel and each day my appreciation for mom always grows. I just got blessed by another visit where she was here for three nights. Thank you for such a heartfelt comment.Love, hugs and blessings,Michelle
