Was Toyota's excuse/explanation/apology sincere?

His words were Toyota's are like me, not perfect. Is he just covering/ shielding his company name from further blemishes and law suits?

I agree with saktesh.. Besides, they would gain nothing if they don't apologize sincerely.

Yes - it was! He did not do anything on purpose to hurt anyone. The suppliers of the parts are the culprits. Yet he did NOT point fingers, but accepted the blame and intends to move.
