This year I am going to be different. I am going to wear blue. Will it be wrong? Must you wear black for a New Year's Eve Ball?

Away with tradition it can be boring at times. I say be the belle of the ball and wear blue.

No we have the best seat in the house to watch the fireworks off Pike's Peak - our living room, kitchen or spare bedroom - the Ad-A Man club hikes up there and if they make it they set off 5 fireworks at 9PM and then a whole show (I am told and usually asleep) by midnight. IF it isn't cloudy and IF they make it up there in fierce winds and horrible cold. YOU be original and wear whatever color you want for sure! Marijo

Not me - I like to hang out at home, mostly with loved ones. Been there, done that though - and if I were headed out to a fabulous party, I'd really get dolled up. Black tie and ballgown is the type of party I'd go to on New Year's Eve. This year, we're have a party at our house. It's as different as can be from black tie or formal/semiformal - it's come as you are and have a blast!

No. i think a darkish nave is a perfectly correct colour to wear to a ball. Keeps it formal but is a wee bit different.
