I am very nervous and brake against the floor all the time. Is this normal? My children are good drivers.
Answers to this question:Quite comfortable although they go a bit fast at times I have to tell them to slow down. Never trust anybody when you are driving except yourself and your intuition.

I was not comfortable at all when I taught my twins to drive. They both thought they were invincible and Rusty Wallace. I was constantly telling them to slow down and watch the road. I even had to take one of their cell phones away so he wouldn't be on it while driving. Now that they are on their own and a few tickets later, they are both better drivers.
Blessings,
Michelle
Well it depends on the driver if he or she is reckless or not but I am ok with their driving.
Really nervous to ride on the car whom drive by a child, especially driving in a hi-way.
Hey Michael - how long have your kids been driving? I found that I was very nervous when they started and that continued for about the first six months. As time went on, I got more and more relaxed and by the time the first year passed, I was completely comfortable.
I have NEVER and will hopefully not ever taste that near-death flavor.
I trust no one behind the wheel but myself which strongly suggests my megalomania .
I'm not driving. My husband does this, while I'm trying to calm the children behind his back.
Timely question for me but I'm changing my answer to "grandchildren while you are in the car" if that's OK. I just gave my 18-year-old grandson a great car as his very own for Christmas and he will soon be driving. Ask me again in a month! However, projecting my answer into the future, I am 100% certain that my right foot will be stepping on the floorboard to brake while, at the same time, my right hand will be clutching the armrest. The shorter answer is, "I'll be on pins and needles."
Well, I will never know because we don't have kids....sounds like a very scary proposition though
not comfortable at all, it def. is a test of faith, I need one of those drivers ed cars with two sets of brakes.
I am very comfortable with my son's driving. I taught him how to drive and he is an excellant driver
» Answer from Paula Adams Answer given 2 years 144 days ago.I couldn't wait for my child to start driving so I wouldn't have too, but she scared me so much I couldn't drive with her. She getting much better now - been driving about 18 months.
I feel very uncomfortable because I do not have any, so they must be someone else,s.
I no what you are saying, I get a little nervous whe I ride with anybody.
It is normal to be nervous because there's little one can do if the driver gets it wrong. Most of us think we are good drivers based on our subjective experiences - example: "I've been driving for ??years and I've never had a crash." And if we did crash, then it was the other person's fault!!
» Answer from Ann Lim Answer given 2 years 137 days ago.Quite comfortable if the child driving has acquired his/her driving license already
Nope, not so relevant. My childrens are still quite young.
» Answer from Chris Oldham Answer given 2 years 130 days ago.I am fairly comfortable as long as they are properly restrained and as safe as they can be. Other drivers are usually a concern.
