Pretty much. I built a garden shed a few years ago. It's 8'x8'x8' with a vegetated, green flat roof. I used reclaimed cedar siding from a garage my neighbor tore down, and glass samples for windows.
No, exactly. Beside enjures, can't create another project!
Absolutely. Couldn't make the jewelry that I do without them and skill at using them. Most successful project? I can happily say that there have been many successful projects and not just in jewelry. But most successful in terms of money was the complete remodel Bernd and I did on his father's rental house so that he could sell it. We took a piece of trash and turned it into a bidding war. Woo hoo!
How many husbands does it take to put in a lightbulb?
None; he just stands there holds it and waits for the world to revolve around him.
I love boxes and have a good collection. My best project was making one.
I'm great with tools. Years ago I was handy with the circular saw, hammer and nails as I build out two horse stalls in my barn. Now I'm awesome with a glass cutter, soldering iron and hammer. I produce some awesome stained glass and mosaics.
Yes, for the most part. I can look at something (crafty) designed from wood and be able to construct it. I normally lay it all out, cut the boards, ect. and then my husband will step in and add the finishing touches. Great team work by the two of us.
yes very, my most successful project i have done by myself is my 17x17 room addition. It has a ski lodge feel to it, with exposed cedar beams, tongue and groove planking, and cedar siding thought out.
