Back to the pilgrims who cane to America for religious freedom - despite what the textbooks are rewritten to say now - and a day set aside to thank God for the mighty blessings He had given us and our nation. And to keep those turkey farmers in business.

Those blessings "provided by your god" were actually skills the Native Americans gave to the pilgrims for survival. Thanksgiving isn't celebrated for giving thanks, because it's as a day in history, it marks the beginning of one of the world's, greatest genocides. It's a day to make people feel not as bad about the horrible tragedy that happened so long ago.
