What type of tool was justed for chopping cotton in the early 50's?

No, dear. That separated the seeds from the cotton fluff. There was a tool that the choppers used and no it wasn't called a chopper.

It's Cotton Gin. But no it isn't cotton gin. It's a hoe, darlin' and that's not a pun. A hoe is a long wooden handle with a blade on one end.
