ha! A mess, three or four or five books open at one time, papers, piled high, and a little clean space for my SW mug. :-) Seriously.

I should have waited until tomorrow to answer this. It'll be totally neat and tidy. For now, it's about 25% messy. Just in disarray. Methodical madness kind of thing.
Neat as a ... pin? (why do we use that expression?). Yep. I'm one of those...some people find order in chaos...others find order in order because there's so much 'noise' going on in the brain. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

My desk was clean when I bought it. SInce then I don't think I have ever properly cleaned it. Appart form moving stuff off it for a while.
