Helping others to find their way through it more easily. Having someone to love and being loved in return. Sitting down to a good meal, well prepared from wholesome ingredients. Sharing a laugh at myself with my husband. I'm sorry, there is too much. I don't think I could pick any one thing.
I like your answer. Even though there is so much bad, there is still plenty of good.
Being happily married for so long that people think we must have gotten married when we were kids (in hindsight, I guess we were) and we still love being together. Second would be raising kids that turn out even better than we had hoped.
I've had some pretty nasty things said about me in the past year but I always come back to the fact that if I've got a great marriage and incredible kids, I must not be all bad!
Living with the same person for over forty years and still loving it!

The memories that make the hardest moments dissolve and the greatest trials seem like nothing. And for me, it would be the memories of a lover.
