Do you know how to make text automatically flow from one text box to another?

I have a couple of "broken" text boxes in a publication that I am putting together. I'm working with MS Publisher 2010. The text boxes will not autoflow and I can't find how to make them do that in this big book I spent lots of money on. :(

When what I am typing exceeds the size of the current text box, I do NOT get a window asking me if I want it to autoflow. Help!

I don't know but you can outsource it to People per hour guys. they know every thing and will do it, if it is a time consuming activity.

Well, the point really is that I want to learn how to do this for myself. Paying someone to fix all my little problems really isn't financially feasible for me. But thanks for the suggestion.

I think that your response is a perfect example of how to gracefully reject someones suggestions. In my humble opinion, you are an excellent writer-you know how to use words to perfectly express your thoughts and feelings.

Dianne,

Try making the font smaller that is in the text box and/or increasing the size of the text box.

You don't need to purchase a separate instruction manual for MS Publisher, just hit the help button and type in your question (hit the little question mark in the upper right hand corner).

Dianne,

I pulled up my publisher program and what it appears you can do is once you draw the text box, you'll have a screen that says "Text Box Tools". Over on the left hand side of the screen will be the words "Text Fit", if you click on Text Fit and then click on "Best Fit" it should automatically reduce the size of the font in the text box.

Hope it works for you!

I can alter the font size, type and color just fine. I really need it to flow from box to box because I am making a newsletter with a multiple column format.

But thanks so much for taking the time to answer. I do appreciate it.

THANKS!

Oh, Okay Dianne, that's easy enough. Under page content options just click the number of columns and it should flow automatically.

Good luck!
