Do you think the Greeks should agree to more austerity?

I don't think they should. As far as I can understand, the austerity measures will benefit everybody but the Greek citizens. I think Greece should default and start again, on its own.

I think Greeks feel a kind of injutice that has erosive effect on Legitimacy of current capitalism. Its incomprehensible for one who worked in a system with all energy, and did what system standards imposed him to be neglected with system. I think all such systems must work for humans. if they fail to do so they must go away.

The best way for Greece to stablize itself by follwing three step approach:

1. To go down.

2. Follow austerity (The top half has to do more than the bottom half).

3. Follow the chinese way, i.e, grow internally and restrict imports to necessities.

I do see most of the EU countries and America ($17.Trln - Debt) might be in line.

I agree, especially with your second point.

I don't know what I think they should do, but I do think that once again those at the bottom are being asked to pay for the sins of those at the top.

I agree with you, Jean. I also don't know what they should do but I can relate to why they're so angry.
