If a person commits suicide, where do you think their eternal fate ends up?

There have been so many suicides here where I live lately and they have been people I know, and a couple are people I am related to. I worry about this...

If it's spitework, where one's body is openly left behind to purposefully distress others, it's bad, bad karma, as well as a violation of one's spiritual contract and one must wander bereft until one would have naturally died(it seems that not even our bodies are ours to dispose of).

If it's a suicide from profound mental illness or to escape horrid disease pain, the above rule does NOT apply.

"Eternal fate", is a rigid limiting concept, one deeply and most false as it negates our innate recycling spiritual reincarnation, a fast and hard rule for almost all human spirits.

Hard question isn't it....no one really really knows do they...I don't know if the bible mentions this subject or not. Except for where it says in the 10 commandments Thou shall not kill............anyway........the person's I am related to was due to a mental illness they had for years. So hopefully God will understand that.....thanks for your answer!

The Bible cannot conceivably be a source of information about myriad spiritual questions and issues and is notably silent on such essential questions as yours.

I have personally done long and hard research into hauntings both active and residual for over thirty years and gifted psychics, interestingly, also(thankfully, I am not one-I'll tell you why at a later time) confirm what I have told you.

If the Bible omits reincarnation, an essential building block, tool towards our evolution towards God, then, to my mind, it must also be dead wrong about a lot of other spiritual things.

I have sought to find out what 'rules' exist and the ones I mentioned seem patently uniform, by case histories of suicides 'stuck' at site hauntings

Do you believe in GOD? Why? . . . I see that you have received a couple of answers with this topic as a Pro and as a Con. I would recommend that you look at maps of the Universe. It is so Infinity that it boggles your mind. I use to think that it was impossible for everyone to have an eternal soul when the world has existed for eons and civilizations of quadrillions (or Zillions) of people have passed away, How can they all fit???

I not only stand corrected, but also, I realized that in that vast universe there exist ONE planet in as many light years as we can see, that has proven life that exists. May I quote? “We were made to the image of GOD”

Ok, most people will say: Yes, GOD has a white long beard and hair; his eyes have a piercing look! . . . Etc . . .

I think that we were made to the image of GOD because among all creatures, we have the “creative” gift that GOD gave us so we can delight in his creation!!! We are the keepers of this world and have that gift (whether we use it for good or bad or not).

Must incredible is the fact that while all other species do not have the creative gift, they do not worry about the existence of a GOD or not and merrily go about their life. . . But . . . We have an innate feeling to search for HIM.

Again, look at a map of the universe. Or just look at a map of our Constellation (one of Trillions) “The Milky Way” and realize that we are not even a visible speck in it!!! And as far as we see “out there” we find no other world with life sustaining water!

You may believe in the Bible or not, but the very beginning states that the spirit of GOD moved upon the face of the Water. How long ago was this written??? What did the writer know about the universe or heaven???

A better question is: If there is no GOD, how in the name of sanity did we come to exist in such a beautiful planet and surrounded by the most outstanding creatures??? HOW???

Such a love like the one GOD has obviously shown for us, is any soul really lost? . . . I don’t believe so, regardless of the reason for the act of rejecting the life that has been given, I truly believe that another vessel, and other chances will be given until that lost spirit is totally purified. Thanks be to GOD!!!

FOR ME.....I actually don't believe in Suspended in Limbo.....Maybe....But I believe in either Heaven or Hell. But ya never know...

We spend 99.999% of our time being dead, so it does not matter.

True, but to me it matters because there is a Heaven and there is a Hell, and if anyone out there that knows their Bible or what God says about this subject can you please find my question. It really bothers me, that's why I asked it.

If anyone attended Bible School or studied the bible, or is a pastor of a church or if your Billy Graham...does the bible say anything about this subject?

Heaven and hell exist in our heads, we are taught to identify with that. Here is the way I look at it, when a cat is old, sick, in pain that cannot be cured and dying, we do it a favor and drive it to to vet to kill (err, put to sleep) the kitty. Now if it's good for a cat, it's good for me too. The bible is a guide to think a certain way on earth, not a guide for what happens or does not happen after we are on earth.
