What does it mean when somome gives you an endorsement?

Good question, Jessie. This is a new idea that we haven't explained to anyone yet.

Endorsements are supposed to be like what you'd read on the back of a book about the book's author. Not written to the author, but about the author.

The idea is that if any writer here needs some endorsements for a book, or anything else, here they are. Otherwise, they are just nice to be able to read.

I always thought it meant someone was going to back you financially for an investment that interested them whether they be a company or just a financier interested in your idea.
