I can't tell a lie, Shyam. Well, I can but I won't. I haven't a clue! Google tells me it's Pygmalion, so I think the movie is "My Fair Lady". And it's great to see you here again!
Wow Jennifer i think you got it right!
Me and Google, that is!
You are right on, Jennifer! That is Alfred Doolittle, Eliza's father when he is in conversation with Professor Higgins.
I loved that movie, Shyam. My favorite song is "all I want is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air, with one enormous chair, ah wouldn't it be loverly? Lots of chocolates for me to eat, lots of coal makin lots of heat, warm face, warm hands, warm feet, ah wouldn't it be loverly. Oh so loverly sittin abso-bloomin-lutely still. I would never budge til spring crept over the window sill..."
I know. I loved that song too, and I sung it all the time for years after I watched it. I love the other song too, 'With a little bit of luck, you got to duck'. Awesome!
» Answer from Jane Baldwin Answer given 244 days 20 hours ago.It is Alfred P. Doolittle, from My Fair Lady. Because of this line, Prof. Higgins realizes that he is a logical thinker and begins to make "A Respectable Man" of him. It is because of this that "I'm gettin' married in the Mornin'!" is a song. ...."What in all of heaven can have prompted her to go, after such a triumph at the ball? What can have depressed her, what can have possesed her, I cannot understand the wretch at all....Women are irrational that's all there is to that....their heads are full of feathers hay and rags....."
Sorry...I just had to riff on that. LOVE IT!
That's very nice. I really liked Alfred P.Doolittle. Sure, I love this one too. Thanks for adding up to the entertainment. You refreshed my memories, and feels like I am watching the movie all over again. Awesome!

A Big Welcome to you for coming here, Jane.
» Answer from Jane Baldwin Answer given 244 days 20 hours ago. Also, Drunken Mystic, did you realize that My fair lady was the top selling album for several years in a row? Not just for musicals, but of ALL records? `Tis true!
I didn't realize that. Even if I knew, I think I forgot. :-) But I do remember that it was topping the list.
