Elizabeth 1st. I've been engrossed and fascinated with this entity ever since I first discovered her literary person at the age of 10 yrs; not simply because she was a Queen, but every facet of her real self that I was able to discover- although the two can hardly be separated.

Robert Bruce, an adept 'magician' and 'astral warrior', who successfully combats predatory demons and nasty types of ET's.

He's an Aussie friend, a famed, brilliant author and mentor; Robert is stalwart and creatively resourceful ,where I quail and flounder.

Never be a sucker, for a pretty face..

There are some wonderful people in ugly bodies and some real S.O.B.s in pretty ones.

But, I do thank you and my cheap ego is stroked.

My sister-in-law. When my brother, who is seven years older than me, married this remarkable woman, he made the best decision of his life. Theirs was a childhood romance that started in another country. My brother moved with the family to the United States and within several months enlisted in the Armed Services. After his stint in the service, he came back home and soon after pursued his wife to be in earnest. She also moved to the US, married my brother, raised their family and are still happily together, now living in Naples, Florida. She is the perfect wife, bar none. She is a fantastic homemaker, chief cook and bottle washer, seamstress, economical wizard for their finances and, overall, is the kindest, sweetest, sharpest and still an amazing "looker" - she's a tiny 5'1" dynamo and jack of any trade thrown at her. She never gossips, is always pleasant, puts up with my brother and is an incredible role model for her kids. There are countless additional things to say about her, but suffice it to say I identify with her as to how I would truly want to model myself and I try hard to emulate her gentle understanding and motherly nature. She is the person that I would and try to be when I'm at my best.

You tell us painfully little about where his overseas duty was, but I gather that he was stationed in Munchkinland?

» Comment from The Old Gray Mare Comment made 284 days 9 hours ago.
He was stationed in Korea. It was 1955 and several years more until he completed his tour of duty. When he first went in he was in Fort Knox, Ky. My sister-in-law is German born.

I've got so many, but 2 are at the top of my list:

1) Oprah for her integrity, honesty and huge capacity to experience pleasure and joy; for the way she doesn't put limits on dreams, and for her lust for life.

2) Barack Obama for the same and for the quality of his intelligence, his breadth of vision and unbelievable ability to keep his focus when storms of hypocrisy, double standards, blind prejudice, machiavellian dishonesty and persecution rage around him.

There's a lot to this question. For a current personality, the woman I can identify with is Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

Yes, that goth babe full of hair and chest, sitting on a couch commenting on awful movies with more jokes than you can laugh at in two hours. She's a personality from the 80s that shines with wit and sarcasm while looking drop dead gorgeous and laughing at herself. Her looks hypnotize at a glance but it's her brain that keeps her lively. She's a writer, actress, comedian, singer and witty conversationalist. What a gal! Anyone who has brains and can laugh at themselves and still be right about the world is wonderful in my book!

As for identifying with a historical person, it would have to be Leonardo da Vinci. Truly a renaissance man, an inventor, observer, artist, writer, traveler. Much like myself, he always had an idea, wrote from direct observation, taught others, recorded history and future ideas. He had to live a long time to get to everything he loved, looks like I have to do the same.
