Dyslexia is a developmental reading disorder when the brain has difficulty recognizing and processing certain symbols. It is located in the part of the brain that interprets language. A person with dyslexia has average to above average intelligence and dyslexia is not a vision problem either.

Dyslexia often runs in families.
