This metaphor may reveal a part of who we are-

I would choose a 2012 KIA SORENTO.

A yellow Hummer; respect, on the road, is thus achieved!

It would seem that you like to be noticed, but feared- and choose the protection of respect over the excitment of true self- expression.....

» Comment from Paul Schroeder Comment made 296 days 7 hours ago.
Nope, not at all; simple self-protection is tantamount; the "excitment of true self- expression", on the road, surely translates to one of the 60,000 fatalities on the highway, each year, not to mention the 100,000 injured.

A Hummer is merely my true self expression towards survivability.

And obviously an apprehension of surviving any other way.....you've arrived at the conclusion of what is best for you, and who you are. Congratulations!

I would LOVE to own a convertible Toyota Solara. Any colour would be fine! When we go to the cottage each summer I see lots of gray hairds cruising around in them. It would be nice to have one before I turn gray, but I don't see it happening. Our dodge caravan will do me fine.

Okay so I just reread the question and missed the whole metaphor line. I just really like this car!

Of course you do.... it represents your nature of serendipity, that wants to be as free as the wind in your hair-

You've got that right. :)

I see that though you're obviously quite practical- there is a side of you that longs to be fully expressed while it still can- LOL- Go for it Bri!

I really like the one I have right now and would probably get one as close to it as I possibly could. I have an old 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. I've always enjoyed the boxy lines of it and don't really care for the newer "rounder" Jeep models. I've seen the new Jeep Liberty on the road and think that might fill the bill. It would have to be 4-wheel drive, but doesn't need air conditioning because I don't use the one I have. Doesn't have to have a radio or CD player either. I would like for it to have an automatic transmission and power brakes and steering, however. As for color, I think white is the perfect color for a car. It's one of the most long lasting colors and generally helps to keep the inside a bit cooler. Notice I said a bit.

WOW! You live in Arizona, and don't use your air conditioner? You're one tough woman! You obviously enjoy all of nature in it's purest forms; and are loath to let go of anything in life, once you've decided it's exactly what you want. Stalwart.

Thanks for your response Dianne- always appreciated.

Ella, you put a really nice twist on it. In reality, I just hate changing things if I don't have to. :) And the thing with the A/C, well it gives me a really bad headache which sometimes turns into a migraine and I'd just rather be hot than go through that. I'm not really very tough. I just got home from my Friday shopping run and I'm really glad not to be in that car anymore!
