I married a third cousin,
surgically removed; when people asked," Where did you two meet?",
I grinningly replied, "Grandma's house!"
Answers to this question:Oh yeah. I had a crush on my cousin Johnny when I was little. He was so cute. Probably still is, but I haven't seen him in years.
Many times but they were my friends' distant family members. haha....
Well, now, that never even occurred to me. Besides, our family is so small, there never was anyone anyhow.

When I was very young I had two crushes. One was on a first cousin. My mother was the last of nine kids and so most of my first cousins were twenty or more years older than me. He was a policeman and his "beat" included our neighborhood on one evening a week. He'd often stop in for a cup of coffee and a little bit of dinner. He looked so great in his uniform and I would always tag along as he would take off his gun/utility belt and hang it in the hall closet.
The other crush was for a second cousin on my dad's side of the family. He was tall and cute and was in the Marines. I guess I had a thing for uniforms. Not anymore though.
I can almost feel "high" for uniforms images, seeing " Stars " on their shoulders, their front pockets etc give you a respect and yearning. The pilot is one.

I can say that I have crushed on all my family members sons' friends! I came from a huge family, my grandmother had 14 children, and one set of Heuples married the other set of Heupels, and then my family became a circle! Yes I mean that literally. I am kin to family on both sides of my mom and dad's family through the Heuples who married the Heupels. Incest you might ask? The answer is no. When in-laws marry newly married in-laws, you just get one humongous family! Our funerals are like family reunions and need a state fair ground to hold us all!
No I can't say that I have. Now should you change "distant family" to "Searchwarp" then you may get an aswer from me "Darling"
Hmmmm. Do tell Kacy. Let's shake things up here a little at SearchWarp. :)
Hmmmm Brianna why not it could be fun. I'll have to see if I'm ready though for the "shake" you mention first - simple because of the "rattle" and "roll" that could likely follow.
Keep well Brianna

I have actually dated a 1st cousin. By definition, he was my 1st cousin, but only by marriage. My family's reaction to this was undescribable, but it took them a while to get over it as I was disowned 3 years AFTER he and I broke up. And yes, he and I also med at Grandmas House, Christmas Eve one year.
» Answer from Cade Lennox Answer given 326 days 3 hours ago.No, I can't say that I have, even as a child you know that it is wrong and immediately dismiss any feelings you might have that are like that. I don't think it's possible to justify having a 'crush' on a distant family member. Just because there is the distant factor doesn't make it okay. To me, that's like justifying being addicted to alcohol by saying its a 'legal' drug as apposed to something illegal like crack. Your still an addict and still have issues...
When I was a kid I had an older second cousin named Butch whom I thought was so cute. Whenever we had family get-togethers I looked forward to seeing him there. If he didn't make it I was very disappointed. I used to try my best to play basketball and other games with my other cousins just so I could be near him. When my Uncle got divorced he moved away and I didn't get to see him anymore. It broke my heart!

When I was a child we would spend some of the summer visiting but would not get together with all of them. I remember one year when I was in my early teens, I had a crush on a 3rd or 4th cousin. He was 3 or 4 years old than I was and was gorgeous, or at least in my eyes! We only spent a couple of days together, with the family around and he pretty much ignored me. Of course that makes sense because I was probably 14 and he was a wiser and older 17 or 18 year old! Obviously, nothing came of it but I still remember that summer fondly.
