I must've become too stupid, but how to join someone's fan club in SW?

I read the instructions which say that you should click on the heart symbol below the author's name on any of the authors article, but I'm just simply unable to find the heart. :(
Answers to this question:At the very top of an author's article there is a box of options on the right side. Becoming a fan is the very last option. Just click on it.

But the problem is, I KNEW this. In fact I remember seeing that little red heart beside my own author box on top of my articles. So it was there then. But now I don't seem to find it either on my own articles or on those of others. :(

We've had others complain that they couldn't find the buttons for joining fan clubs, and I'm not sure if this is a glitch in the system or not, but I've never been able to see a problem with the fan club buttons. You do have to be logged in to have the option to join fan clubs. Are you sure you're logged in when you are looking?
