I would like to make my two de-activated articles, active. I will then re-write them and make them better. . .I hope. Michael

I've been away for a while starting up a couple of new things and now find articles archived or deactivated. I am not sure exactly what needs to be done either. I'm going to anxiously await answers to your question - was thinking of asking myself - and hopefully learn something. My guess is that you pull up the article, give it a great going over, perhaps add an interesting picture, approach it from a new dynamic and give it another publish.
My advice would be this - If you feel your article has merit and you'd like to see it published, then by all means resurrect it. I mean edit and/or rewrite it. Freshen it up. Shorten or lengthen as necessary and send it back out.
By the way, Hi Calvin!
Thank you Old Gray Mare, you have hit the answer on the head. I did indeed upgrade my article, that is, longer, more description, and added an illustration. I then resubmitted them. I of course, I hope, spruced up the titles a bit also.
A pleasure to give you the points, Old Gray Mare. . .and welcome back, Michael.
I'm glad you posted this question. One new point that I'm really aware of - especially now with the blogs. Make sure you provide a link to that article or at least give the title so it is there for all to see and use and go to - you never know, sometimes they get picked up by the search engines even. Now you may not have a lot of articles going yet. Regardless, give the title and/or link so we can read it. Tell everyone you have the new and improved blah blah blah article ready for the readers.
Great job. Best of luck.
