Why can't we post a photo here? One picture is worth 1000 words - I have a photo of our cabin with the rainbow overhead and ending right on top or it! That's what it now means to me - we are blessed!
I have a photo (taken by Bernd) of me standing so that it looks as if a rainbow is coming out of my head. Don't know what that might mean. :)
Since there's no actual end to a rainbow (they are circles) then the statement is actually true. At the end of the rainbow, you'll find a pot of gold.
Total Answers: 5, Total Page Views: 1,166.It's never meant much to me because you can never really find the end of a rainbow. It sometimes looks as if you can, but you can't. As you change your position the position of the rainbow changes along with you. If I had to assign a meaning to the saying, I'd say that it is about futility. But because I've always worked hard for what I have and not relied on a "pot of gold" it really doesn't matter.
