Grace O'Malley vanished from SW's hallowed cyberhalls; doom and gloom or greener pastures?

Paul, I asked this question sometime last year and seems that no one can know her whereabouts. She and Dixie disappeared almost at the same time. I too, wonder why !

It's an evergreen question: "What ever happened to..?"

I hate seeing these questions come up, because they usually lead to private messages being passed around containing complicated plots and conspiracy theories, theories that are way more devious than the actual truth.

Most of these disappearances have very amusing background stories, and believe me, I wish I could tell them! It seems like there's always something funny going on under the surface at SearchWarp. Secret love affairs written about between the lines in articles between two SearchWarp writers, an award-winning journalist submitting 100% plagiarized articles, a plain-speaking writer repeatedly commenting, 'with me, what you see is what you get' when we know that neither her name nor her picture are actually her, nasty name-calling fights between two people who supposedly live thousands of miles apart, yet the comments are posted from the same computer, the person who uses alternate accounts to rate their own articles straight 5's in the readers' club not realizing how obvious this is to spot, or the preacher who likes to send private messages to women describing certain female undergarments, it's almost more than we can keep to ourselves at times!

Only that last incident resulted in us closing a member's account, and that was because he wouldn't stop. Most of the above examples happen over and over again with different members. Typically what happens is that I let the member know that we know what they are doing, and they get embarrassed and stop coming back. But that doesn't make a good story.

"Dixie Bull [or Dixey Bull] was an English sea captain, and the first pirate known to prey on shipping off the New England coast, especially Maine. " (Wiki) In the 1600's! And Grace O'Malley was an Irish pirate, born in the 1500's. Abraham Blauvelt was a Dutch pirate in the 1600's

Shiver me timbers!(a reference to cannon balls shaking the ship on impact)

Have we been hornswaggled and pirated!?

Paul Schroeder was also a pirate who preyed the coast of Coney Island laying waste to Nathan's hotdogs..
