A Prayer from a Holocaust Rabbi, a survivor of Treblinka:

"Dear G-d, our blood soaks every inch of every patch of soil and every rock on this Earth; we have paid with our lives and our children's lives for every Holy Commandment.

Grant us we pray G-d your people, one more wish request and choose another people, and take from us our holiness"

You asked for it Paul:

Heavenly Father, thank you for your faithfulness even when we are not. I pray for your forgiveness and ask that you make my heart right as I pray for others. Lord, I ask in the most precious name of Jesus that you would free Paul of all his anxieties, all of the things that hold him hostage and I pray for an added measure of your wisdom to open his eyes to the Truth that will set him free from all of his nightmares.

Father, I pray for all who are hurting and in need of your grace that they would cry out to you in humility and with a repentant heart. Reveal yourself in such a way that they can no longer deny the reality of who you are. I love you Lord and I thank you for all you do. For all you allow that causes our hearts to draw near to you. Lead us in the way of righteousness and lead us to your Son and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

Even now Lord, I pray Paul and each who read this prayer would feel your overwhelming yet comforting presense that they would know beyond a shadow of doubt that you are real and you love beyond measure, so much so you sent your Son to die in our place that we may be forgiven. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

A prayer from Christ in Gethsemane- Matthew 26: 39-42

He fell on his face, and prayed, saying: O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.

He went away a second time and prayed, saying: O my Father if this cup may not pass away from me except I drink it, thy will be done.

Watch and pray, that ye inter not into temptation, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Jesus in his human weakness was afraid, but his spirit moved him to his destiny- the reason he was born; he fulfilled it- even in the face of pain and suffering and death of the life he then lived. He was sent to be the model, for human life on earth- everything he did and said while here was meant to teach us how to live our lives, and how to deal with the spiritual challenges we will confront. Some of us try, but we can't seem to get very far up the scale in measurement to Christ....

A prayer from me- prayed just this day.....

I humbly bow my head, in repleting gratitude; my thoughts and words not sufficient to express-

In shame and contrition, I beseech your benevolent forgivness for the human weakness of my little faith; and for my forgetting- in fear and anxiety- your incomparable love and care for me-

of which I am not worthy.

I ask of Christ, the aid of human remembrance and strength of faith in the boundless glory of this love- and all this love entails. I ever seek this worthiness in your presence.

In this, I offer my soulful, inadaquate thanks, to my God; and to his human interseder- The Christ

Oh my God- how great thou art!- What wonder, that thou would be mindful of me.
