In our present day, dangers lurk all around us. Sex offenders seem to be everywhere, people look to take anything away from you they want, they'll kill for pennies. I have a young granddaughter and, most important to me, is to warn her and other youngsters to beware -- Beware of strangers, beware of cars that cruise slowly past you, beware of cars stopping nearby to ask directions, beware of anything unusual on the street, in parking lots and even in school. I tell her to use her voice - at the slightest provocation make noise and draw attention. Be prepared to run. Anyway, it boils down to beware of stranger danger.
