What features on SearchWarp should be eliminated?

The SearchWarp website has grown beyond what one guy can realistically maintain. The problem is that we have more ideas that we want to implement. Before we add any more, I think I need to eliminate some of the more obscure features that are rarely used.
Which feature or features can you think of that you wouldn't miss?
Here's a list of some features, I'm sure I'm missing some:
Community Interaction Scoring
Kontera Advertising
Member Statuses
Featured Writers page
Advice Columnist page
Internal SearchWarp Messages
Halls of Fame
Twitter Options
Facebook Options
Country & State flags
Popularity ratings
Collaborative articles (multiple writers)
Favorite article lists
Blog option
Q&A (though this has been popular)
Polls
Assignment Desk
Fan Clubs
Banners
Referrals
Hot-To article creator
Popularity history
The ability to revert to previous version of articles
Maintaining the old HTML editors for those who prefer them
Answers to this question:That "cool stuff' feature doesn't seem to me, to be serving a useful purpose- Q&A is mentioned twice- there and on control panel. Seems to be a sort of "catch all" drawer----
Including a list of all the features would be helpful for people like me who don't use them all that much ... or ever. I mean, I can't name them if I am not aware of them. Bad me for not paying better attention. But there you are.
Good idea, I've just added a list above.
"How To Article Creator" and "Favorite Articles" are features i don't use on Control Panel.
ditto Hyun Soung.
Plus, what about the Polls ? ( can do without but keep Q&A)
Add back : View more other writers (pix)
Yes, the polls as well, i rarely do them, but i think it may be beneficial for the ones who need the answers, maybe Polls can be integrated as a feature in the Q&A...
Seeing more writers pictures would be fantastic.
Hi again, Bruce. Thanks for the list. I'll start at the bottom.
I don't really use either editor. I write my articles in Office 2003 Word and copy and past them. There are a few little incompatibilities but nothing horrendous.
Previous version: most people probably save their own versions of their articles on their computers. I do.
Popularity history: I never look at that. You guys keep track of where we currently are and that's all I really need to know. Actually, I don't really even need to know that.
How-to: I think I used it once. Mostly, I just like to make it up as I go. :)
What's Referrals? :)
Leave the access to Banners, in my opinion.
Fan clubs are fun. And it makes it easier for me to catch up on my favorite author's articles.
I don't participate much in the Assignment Desk. I've found I have a hard time writing about other people's ideas.
Polls were fun for a while, but the popularity of that seems to have dropped off.
For sure keep the Q & A.
I have a blog with WordPress that I seldom update. I think the blog option is probably not necessary.
Whoa! this is getting long. I'll try to just sum up the rest. Consider keeping: Halls of Fame, Community Interaction, Country and State Flags, and the Featured Writers page.
That's about it.
That's a good overview Dianne, pretty much in line with what I was thinking. Thanks!
I like SW as it is. But I see the point re workload etc. So, here's my take: Maintaining the old HTML and ability to revert to previous version could go. I don't know about the referrals - Haven't used it or considered it. For me, the assignment desk can also go - I have other sites that pay for assignments. And, finally, Kontera Advertising, Country & State flags, Polls, and Blog option could go in that order. See - right there - we've done away with quite a few items. I've no doubt though that the Kontera must stay in because it raises money. You've got a great site and a cohesive community. Thank you for so much dedication and effort! Heidi
Thanks OGM, I'm clearing some of this out now.
