Answers to this question:
Good, relevant content, an appropriate domain name and solid search engine optimization. Also links to other quality content, and reciprocal links from other quality content providers.
Good content without links is useless (in the eyes of Google). With Google, if all things are equal, the page with the most relevant links will win. Your links need to be targeted for the phrase or phrases you want to rank for. Article Marketing is one of the best ways to get relevant and targeted links.
A targeted link, links back to your page or choice with the keywords you want to rank for. If you want to rank for blue widgets you would build link using phrases such as "blue widgets", "big blue widgets", "top blue widgets" ,etc.
Your links is constructed like this: Your phrase . Remember to make your links consistent. Google will count trailing "/" as separate links. So either use http://www.bluewidgets.com or http://www.bluewidgets.com/. Just be consistent.
Just like how you would get anything else in life and that is to say "PLEASE"
Climb! climb! climb! Just remember not to look down!
The best way to do this is to work hard.
*First add it to as many direcrories as you can - this will get you link popularity.
* Link up with other sites. But always run a page rank cheak (google and you will find one).
*Add a link as your site (goes below your name) on SearchWarp. As it does well on google.
* Always add new content to your site
* Don't just submit your site to Google add it to HotBot, Bing, Yahoo, AltaVista and so on.
*When you vist your site don't type in the URL go through google - it promotes site people google.
This is how I have done it in the past. But the directories are the best overall. Though it takes adges and is very dulll to do.
