Well, I've probably been told to fly a kite sometimes. I have never flown a kite, I'm sorry to say. I have actively participated when my son flew his numerous kites in younger years. My brother always flew kites and made his own. I remember the many lessons he and my father went through planning the design and the tail - that was key to the success of great and high flight.
My older brother used to take me to fly a kite in the beach when we were kids. I hold the kite at the far end, wait for the breeze before I release it while he is holding the rope. Fun times.
Yeah the memories are great aren't they!
