I have only submitted 21 articles but I'm curious as to how I get my popularity number increased? Am I not submitting the correct articles or what could I possibly be doing wrong? I'm looking to expand on my writing skills and any answer would be appreciated.
Answers to this question:You're main problem from what I can see is short and in-descriptive titles. Try to get more information into your titles. That's how people find you on search engines.
That's great information! Thank you so much!
Write better articles, by that I mean write articles that are more popular with the masses on Searchwarp, it is whether you are prepared to change your writing style and subjects though
I wrote news articles for a couple of weeks, and my rating shot up to 5,000 very quickly, so they are quite a good way, and you can write quite short articles, 300-500 words. I got my info from CNN.com and other online media places. Julian Price might be able to help you; I think he was writing a lot of news stuff.
You can write a combination of articles - ones that are just to increase your ratings, and ones that are more meaningful to you, such as the ones you're writing now - which I think you write really well, by the way :)
Are you writing for any other shared revenue publishers? Here are a few with tight editorial control, at least in the beginning--you will also have to provide writing samples: www.digitaljournal.com , www.examiner.com, www.suite101.com .
Of course writing for other publications could not logically increase your popularity here. Personally, I don't worry about popularity (obvious by my lowest of low ranking). If you are trying to qualify for shared revenue by the popularity standards here is the reason for your question... many other publishers do not have a popularity requirement to begin earning, other than your articles must bring in the hits, views, or clicks.
In fairness, sometimes web income is so hard to achieve that other goals should be foremost. For example, Google seems to be very Searchwarp friendly. You will find your articles on the net soon after publication.
One other thing--have you set up your own website with unique URL yet? If you do that, then you can promote your SearchWarp articles and begin the slow build of affiliate revenues. If you really have 0 budget, I know of two ways you can go off hand.
Good Luck. I may be reading between the lines too much. I didn't actually answer your question, but what I thought you intended.
