Answers to this question:
My religious beliefs in no way influence anything in my writings. When I comment on others' articles, if those are specifically about a religious subject, my beliefs may well come into consideration if I give an opinion or refer to one of my experiences. If I just plain comment, then no, my religious beliefs do not interfere. If it is too controversial for me to answer, then I refrain from any comments.
Wow! That's a brilliant question. But to adequately answer it, I would first have to accurately define my religious beliefs. That's not something that is easy to do as I am not simply a Christian, or a Buddhist. I don't believe only in the Tao or Gaea. Also, my "religious" beliefs are always evolving and are in no way static. So it changes. But to answer your actual question ... the answer is yes, always! Living is my religion.
My spiritual beliefs rarely come into play when I write. I will respond to others from that perspective however. My beliefs run deep and I find I am loathe to share them with the world lest they become unimportant to me.
To an extent my religious beliefs influence my writing. For instance, I cannot write to promote topics or issues that I know clearly contradict what I believe, and even if I try to remain neutral on issues, my response may still be in favour of what I clearly believe to be the right thing. Though I try not to be fanatical or force my beliefs on others.
