Every buisiness wants to maximize profits. Should they skimp on keeping restrooms clean?
Answers to this question:Checked every hour and cleaned up using good old elbow grease and manual labor
Restrooms in restaurants should be sanitized with cleaning solutions with antibacterial substances, such Tide bowl cleaner or the scrubbing bubbles with bleach to keep the mold and dirt grind from forming. Restrooms should be monitored occasionally to keep the buildup of trash from forming. The mirrors should be properly cleaned with no streaks. The floors should be swept everyday and mopped with bleach & Pinesole. The trash should be emptied on a daily basis as well. If it's an upscale restaurant, usually there is a bathroom attendant who handles this type of service.
Heavens no, they shouldn't skimp on keeping restrooms clean. I can't tell you how many times our choice of fast food outlet was determined by the usual condition of their restrooms. Fast food being so similar from one brand to another in type and price, what else would you use to make a determination? Okay, so we're a bit weird. But it's a point. As for HOW they should be kept clean, well it's simple really and if the person doing it doesn't know what CLEAN is they should be replaced.
