E.G. The original word translation meaning, from Hebrew, to Greek, from Latin, to English, of 'Nephilim' , in Genesis, to MANY Jewish Orthodox scholars imparts the meaning, "those who came down", rather than 'giants in the Earth" and unbeknownst to those who clutch this Biblical error close to their hearts, it meant' those who came down'- FROM THE SKY-, bringing us all back once again full circle to the ancient aliens, whose presences and technologies inspired the writing of much of the Old.Testament, entities who truly never left , who now still actively meddle in people's lives.
Answers to this question:I am not sure that any of my ideas about the Bible or life have ever been original. I think I have either read them, heard them, or been taught them somewhere along the way, either at a conscious or unconscious level.
Today I am working hard at a conscious level to acquire my own beliefs and choosing my own teachers. The ones teach the gospel according to the way it is written and not the way they want it to be. The ones that really care about you and will tell you the truth even when you don't want to hear it. .
We shall patiently, therefore, await the very first ORIGINAL idea that comes to you with bated breath and I shall turn over the eggtimer sandhourglass in eager anticipation of such moment.....
The clock is ticking......
I might have had an "original" idea once but it died of loneliness.....GRIN
You cannot grin and back out stage left with a self deprecating comment; I know that behind all the white washed scrubbed gray matter resides an original surmise somewhere throttled.
Actually, that quote was not mine but a teacher I thought a lot of said it about 26 years ago. Are you doing better?
I shall be better ONLY if you give me an original thought, as you probably write more about this dubious text than any other person I have been lucky to have stumbled over at SW> > > > > > > >
That the bible was here to save us
Many scholars disagree on this matter, so to say anyone is "in error" about it simply means they don't agree with your resources. The Bible is not clear on some things, usually relatively unimportant ones like this. But it is crystal clear that one must be converted to Jesus Christ if one is to have eternal life.

Some rely heavily on the scriptures, while others are still learning to interpret its meaning. Atheists are those who do not believe. But those filled with the spirit may understand the bible better and can mentor those who do not fully comprehend. My mother-in-law is a Bishop and she knows a great deal about the bible, however real life situations need to be dealt with by action rather than just praying with no action hoping for a miracle. I think that people get confused on its underlying factors meaning that you must pray and execute to seek answers. God will show you the path.
