Should women shave their hairy legs or just let it be there?

How do men feel about women/wives' hairy legs whenever they are together ?

What about the women themselves' point of view ?

I think it should simply be a matter of choice and convenience. But I am sure that it will never be. Social pressures, I think, more than anything else, dictate whether or not a woman removes the hair from her legs.

In the colder months of the year, when I wear a lot of long skirts, long pants and/or knee-high boots, I do not shave my legs. My husband could care less. But in the warmer months, when my legs are likely to be exposed to the world, I shave them once a week. I just can not seem to get past the social stigma associated with hairy legs in American culture.

Thanks for your remarkable answer here, Dianne. You made me laugh a bit. Luckily, with all the advanced products we can easily remove the hair that horrifies people. I don't mean I have that much hair on my legs but when I was 18 that year, I used to have a bit more. haha!!

SHAVE!!!! I would be so disappointed if I dated a girl to find out later that night she hadn't shaved her legs, after all I always shave my face before a date

hmm I can't agree with you more, Adrian! It does matter a lot there.

i think it's pretty disgusting. A tad of stubble is ok, i guess, but visible hair is a total turnoff. she might as well have jungles under her arms, too. blah!

"she might as well have jungles under her arms, too. blah!"

In my head when I read this, you sounded like the monocled Count puppet, on Sesame Street and suddenly

I could not stop laughing, I could NOT stop laughing!

Paul, I am glad that you are laughing again . You are getting some best medicine of the world by laughing hahahahahaha.........

A tad of stubble...haha... you must mean the inner portion. What a funny comment you gave here that made me laugh out loud.

To conclude : No one is pleased to see another's hair ( armpit, legs etc ) exposed to their eyes. I too, can't agree with you more ( I agreed with you 120%)

Thanks for your answer MATT !

I believe everyone knows what is decent and acceptable. Leaving hairs on the legs would rather make a woman masculine, unattractive to a man and above all bushy.

Right thought !

Showing all that is only making oneself offensive .

Thanks for your answer!

Hairy legs can be braided for all I care; it's EYEBROWS tweezed off and penciled in that drives me to distraction above all else as unnatural and contrived and damn silly looking.

» Comment from Hilda Cang Comment made 2 years 25 days ago.
Sounds odd to me and rather artificial that EYEBROWS thing. You saw it in movie or in person ?

Almost a full third of American women do this weird Groucho thing-shave eyebrows that God meant as cow bumpers to protect the eyes from dirt and draw them back on WITH CRAYOLA!-and almost three-fourths of women acting on T.V.!

It's clownish and so unnatural and contrived that it's the very FIRST thing(and often the very last) that I notice about a woman.

Isn’t this what they used to call a trick question?

» Comment from Hilda Cang Comment made 2 years 22 days ago.
No. It's just a general question that needs others' opinions, Cameron.
