Horses are my favorite subject. I have been involved in one way or the other with the horse industry most of my life. My background extends to 4-H, The Connecticut Horse Council, keynote speaking, symposia, riding clubs, pleasure driving clubs, fundraising, horse showing and planning horse shows. I have run my own annual shows as The Homestead, for our 4-Club as the Ellington 4-H Trail Riders, The Reddington Rock Riding Club, and lots of other organizations. My horses have given me great joy over the years; there have also been sad times. I have experienced the loss of a mare and foal, had to put a horse down because of a broken leg, trained my own Saddlebred foal/colt/stallion and have emerged myself totally into the horse world. Lets share experiences - large, small, funny or sad.
