Taking Time to Enjoy Screenwriting and Entertainment Production

by Sid Kali
Posted 3 days 22 hours ago.
Lately I’ve been feeling my mind has been too caught up with the business end of writing screenplays and entertainment production. It’s been too easy for me lately to look at every project I’m involved with as strictly something to be sold when it’s finished. I have nothing against a screenwriter or producer that wants to make money from their work, but I can now...

A Fable - A Doppelganger with No Birth Certificate Runs for Mayor in Amerikus

by Christofer French
Posted 4 days 4 hours ago.
I am the Mayor of Amerikus. Micah Sampson. It is a job that has fallen to me because I am a curmudgeon and honest. The three other fellas in town who have had this position in the past have put the town through too much unpredictability and instability. Howard Minkus, he is the most affable, and the one with the most qualifications. His resume is the most impressive. However, his wife loves...

Is Free Will Really Free?

by Gary Zalben
Posted 4 days 4 hours ago.
We are told by the great ones and spiritual masters that a human being has been endowed with only twenty-five percent of free will. Where is the remaining seventy-five percent? It is broken up between karma, pre-natal and post-natal habits deeply buried within the subconscious mind. You can test yourself by taking five of your strongest habits being either good or bad and try to break or stop...

Expeditions in Faith: Choosing Your Divinity

by Jennifer Urezzio
Posted 4 days 5 hours ago.
This is all about you making a choice to be one with the Divine and to experience your Divinity more in each experience of your life. So, let's start with a couple of questions: Create a conscious connection with your Soul via your Soul Language team. "What is your greatest desire?" "What choices are you making in your life based on this desire?" (list both positive and not) So...

by Dr. Marc Ott
Posted 4 days 10 hours ago.
Sciatica is a symptom characterized by leg pain that possibly includes numbness, tingling or weakness that starts from the lower back and goes down to the buttocks and to the large sciatic nerves on the legs. Breaking Up Is Hard To Do . . . And Could Be Dangerous

by Octavia Hansen
Posted 4 days 11 hours ago.
Neil Sedaka was right, and tuneful, with Breaking Up Is Hard To Do. Unless you married your first sweetheart/love, at sometime (probably many times) you have faced a breakup. Doesn't matter which side you are on . . . the one leaving or the one left behind . . . the ending is the same. You are alone. And it's a personal rejection, the deepest level of despair. The break ups I am referring to...

What Future Candidates Should Learn from 2012 GOP Primary Season

by Terry Mitchell
Posted 4 days 12 hours ago.
Now that Mitt Romney has pretty much wrapped up the 2012 GOP nomination, anyone considering a future run for president from either party should take note. They are plenty of lessons they can learn from the 2012 GOP presidential nomination season. Specifically, there are the three listed below: 1) You need to get on the ballot and campaign in all 50 states and all five U.S. territories, no...

The Space Age (Our final Frontier)

by David Tanguay
Posted 4 days 14 hours ago.
We as a nation are in the space age. i.e., we are engaged in space travel. We have put men on the moon however; we have not put an end to war here on planet earth. We must get our priorities straight we must learn to live with one another before we try to discover new worlds. We as Americans spend $5 to 7 billion dollars a year on space exploration. For the 2010 fiscal year, the president's...

Judged By the Cover, Finding the Layers of Treasures Inside...

by Alessandro Monte
Posted 5 days 4 hours ago.
Books judged by the cover, too thin, too thick, by the color and its beauty or content, but that one is hard to know till we get to read the pages and discover its highs and lows, and how far it will take us in the journey it promised. That's how we usually are, day by day, assuming we know about those we work with, those we pass them by on a way to work as they beep the horn behind us, the...

LABELS Are For Canned Foods, Cereal Boxes, And Shipping Packages NOT Students/People!

by elle kynzer
Posted 5 days 7 hours ago.
As a former College Instructor in the High Schools I know all about labels. I was labeled a "lenient Instructor' due to the fact that I used very different methods. I had to, because at one school the principal decided the so called 'bad kids' (more labels) were given to me to 'fix' along with the honor students who qualified for those college credits. I was not the one who chose the students....
